Run astrouninstall before you delete the folder

astroinstall added a line to the manifest of your other resources that loads a file from the AstroShield folder. If you delete the folder first, those resources log an error because the file is gone. Remove the line first, as described below.

Remove AstroShield#

In the server console (not in-game), run:

```
This removes the shared_script '@AstroShield/shared-obfuscated.lua' line from every resource that has it and prints a summary of what it removed.

Remove the three AstroShield lines from server.cfg:

start AstroShield
add_ace resource.AstroShield command allow
add_unsafe_child_process_permission AstroShield

Delete the resources/AstroShield folder.
Restart the server.

Your license, configuration and ban records stay in your account. If you install AstroShield again later, download a fresh resource from the dashboard.

Pause it without removing it#

To switch AstroShield off for a while, for example to test whether it causes a problem, stop the resource:

Your other resources keep working. Their guard script finds no AstroShield running and simply does nothing. Start it again with start AstroShield.

Stopping AstroShield removes protection while it is stopped. Players can cheat freely until you start it again.
