Warnings before expiry#
You are told in several places as the end of a license gets close:

When a license expires#
- The backend refuses the connection:
Auth failed: License Expired. The resource gets no configuration, so the detections you configured in the dashboard are not active. - The resource does not retry on its own. After you renew, run
restart AstroShield. - Nothing is deleted. Your configuration, bans, admins and rules stay in your account. Expiry only switches the features off.
Renew a server#
Renewing uses a new Tebex purchase and the Redeem button on the dashboard. Choose Renew Server, pick the server and paste the new Transaction ID. The steps are in Buying and redeeming.
- If time is left, the new period is added on top. Renewing early costs you nothing.
- If the license has already expired, the new period starts on the day you redeem.
- After renewing an expired license, restart AstroShield so it connects again.
Lifetime licenses#
A lifetime license has no expiry. The dashboard and the banner show Lifetime or Never.
Banned licenses#
A banned license stops working, and renewing it does not lift the ban. If you think this is a mistake, contact support on Discord or at astroshield@gmail.com.
